Biography

Senior (2017):

Appeared in 21 games for the Eagles as a senior, all coming in a starting role…Finished the season with two goals and four assists for eight points, all figures representing career-highs…Was named to the Sonny Carter All-Tournament Team after helping Emory to a first place finish with a pair of shutouts and an assist against NC Wesleyan (9/1)…Scored both goals on the year in wins over Carthage College (9/23) and at Piedmont (10/3)… Assisted an Emory defensive unit that posted a 0.92 goals-against average with nine shutouts while limiting opponents to five shots on goal or fewer in 17 contests…Played a season-high 108 minutes and assisted on Emory’s lone goal in the NCAA Quarterfinals against Chicago.

Junior (2016):

After appearing in 17 games over the first two years of his career, Ferguson started in all 16 contests during the 2016 season…He helped the Emory defense record a 1.20 goals-against average, allowing just 20 goals in 16 games while holding opponents to averages of 10.4 shots and 4.1 shots on goal per game…Tallied an assist in Emory’s season opener on September 3rd, a 5-4 loss to Texas-Tyler in overtime…Scored his first collegiate goal, the game-winner, in the Eagles’ 1-0 victory against Sewanee University on September 21st…Earned a spot on the Sonny Carter Invitational team at the start of the year, helping Emory to a second place finish at the annual tournament.

Sophomore (2015):

Ferguson appeared in eight games including one in a starting role during his sophomore season with the Eagles. He recorded his first career point, an assist, in Emory’s 3-0 win over Rochester on November 7th. He finished the season with three shots with one on goal. Ferguson logged a season-high of 51 minutes against NYU on November 1st.

Freshman (2014):

Ferguson played in nine games during his freshman season.  He made his only start of the campaign during the team’s NCAA Tournament game against Berry College on November 14th, recording season-highs with three shots, two shots on goal and 86 minutes played.  Ferguson made his collegiate debut during the team’s season-opening game against Centre College on August 29th, logging 22 minutes in the contest.  The midfielder finished the year with six shots, including three on goal.
