Freshman (2014):

Kanji played in a pair of games for the Eagles during his freshman season.  The midfielder saw nine minutes of action during the Eagles' 5-1 win over Rhodes College on September 13^th, and two minutes against Hendrix College the following day.

Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year member of the Upper Canada College team, serving as a captain during his senior year... Was named the team's Most Valuable Player his senior season, after scoring seven goals during the campaign... Was coached by Reemek Hamr and Richard Turner in high school... Also played for the ANB Academy and Spartacus Soccer Club, where he was coached by Bassam Naim... Played basketball and ran track in high school as well.

Personal:

Born May 1st... Brother, Omar, played hockey at Cornell.

Why he chose Emory:

"I wanted a good combination of academics and athletics.  Emory seemed like the best fit for me."
