Senior (2024-25):

  • Played in 29 games including one starting assignment as a senior

  • Grabbed 77 rebounds to go along with 14 steals and 14 blocks

Junior (2023-24):

Freshman (2021-22):

In his first collegiate season, Martens proved himself to be an invaluable member of the 2021-22 Eagles squad as he served as the Eagles primary starting center… Was one of four Eagles to play in all 26 games and drew a starting assignment in 24 of them… As one of the tallest members of the 2021-22 Eagles squad, Martens made a huge impact on the boards, finishing second on the team in total rebounds (134) and rebounds per game (5.2)… Also an important scoring presence, Martens finished fifth on the team in both total points scored (189) and points per game (7.3)… Finished with seven games scoring in double figures… A defensive linchpin for the Eagles, Martens registered 21 blocks, the second highest total on the team, as well as 15 steals which was the fourth most on the squad… Also tallied 24 made free throws, 18 assists and 15 made three pointers on the season… In the NCAA First Round against Averett (Mar. 4) Martens posted a dominant game securing 16 rebounds, tied for the 15th most in a game in program history, as well as eight points and two blocks to help the Eagles get the win… Highest scoring game of his young career came in the first game of the season against Piedmont (Nov. 11) where he dropped 18 points on 8-for-10 shooting while also corralling seven rebounds… In his first start of his career, Martens logged a season-high 33 minutes and in that time, he scored nine points, secured six rebounds and dished out three assists in a loss to Wabash (Nov. 20).


Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year member of the Marcus men's basketball prgram, serving as a team captain as a senior...Played under coach Shane Rogers...Named District Newcomer of the Year in 2020...All-District First Team selection as a senior after averaging 11.0 PPG and 5.4 RPG...Academic All-State Second Team selection in 2021...Helped Marcus to a Co-District and Bi-District title in 2021.
