Biography

Senior (2006):

Mieczkowski finished the season with a perfect 4-0 record and a3.74 ERA while making 14 appearances.  On April 5 againstOglethorpe University (Ga.) he struck out 14 batters, whileallowing six hits over eight and two-thirds innings.  Herecorded 59 strike outs in 55.1 innings of work.

Junior (2005):

Junior pitcher was third among starting pitchers in strikeoutsand fourth in wins, ERA and innings pitched.

Sophomore (2004):

Mieczkowski was named second-team all region. He finished 18thin the nation with a 1.68 earned run average and 39th in wins withan 8-1 record. His 1.68 ERA was the fifth best in school history.He was second on the team in strikeouts and fanned a career-highnine batters in his first start of the year, Feb. 18 againstWashington & Lee (Va.). He didn't allow a run in his first 15innings of work on the season.

Freshman (2003):

Mieczkowski posted a 2-0 record with one save over nineappearances, including four starts. He recorded 19 strikeouts and a3.29 ERA in 27.1 innings.
