Played in 21 games as a senior, making eight appearances as part of the starting lineup…Tallied four hits, three runs and two RBI…Picked up a pinch-hit RBI single against Pacific Lutheran on February 15th and added a RBI against Case Western Reserve on April 12th.
Junior (2018):
Played in 27 games, making 19 starts for the Eagles as a junior…Collected 14 hits including three doubles and drove in nine runs…Had three multi-hit games against Oglethorpe (2/13), Middlebury (3/17) and NYU (4/28)…Tied a career-high with two RBI against the Panthers and Violets.
Sophomore (2017):
Played in 23 games as a sophomore, making 10 starts…Tallied nine hits in 35 at-bats with two doubles and nine RBI…Scored a season-high two runs while drawing three walks in Emory’s 12-7 win at Huntingdon on February 24th…Drove in two runs with a pinch-hit single against Oglethorpe University on March 8th…Went 1-for-3 with two RBI, a walk and a run scored against New York University on April 21st…Was 1-for-3 in Emory’s NCAA tournament contest against Roanoke College on May 19th.
Freshman (2016):
Baumgartner appeared in 11 games during his freshman season, hitting at a .250 clip with two RBI…He collected his first career hit in a pinch hitting opportunity against LaGrange College on March 26th…Drove in both runs of the season with a pinch hit double in Emory’s win over North Carolina Wesleyan on April 9th.
