Junior (2010):
Schwartz played in 20 games for Emory during his junior season,including six starts. He hit .167 during theseason (six-for-36) with four runs batted in and three runsscored. Schwartz registered a two-for-two day against YorkCollege (Pa.) on February 27th, helping the Eagles to an 11-0win.
Sophomore (2009):
Schwartz appeared in 30 games for the Eagles in 2009, making 18starts. He was one of Emory's top performers off the bench,recording a batting average of .373 with 11 runs scored and 14 runsbatted in. He hit .429 (six-for-14) off the bench during theseason, including three hits in seven at bats as a pinchhitter. Schwartz also stole two base in three attempts duringthe campaign. He drove in a season-high three runs with atwo-for-four performance against North Central College on March21st, and went three-for-five with two runs batted in againstLaGrange College on April 14th.
Freshman (2008):
Schwartz made started six games at catcher, and appeared in 17total games during the season for the Eagles. He batted .400(eight-for-20) with seven runs batted in and five runsscored. The switch-hitter batted .429 (six-for-14) againstright-handed pitchers and went six-for-eight when leading off aninning. Schwartz recorded three-straight two RBI games fromMarch 2nd - 7th.

Prior to Emory:
Attended Montgomery Bell Academy, where he played on thebaseball team for four seasons... Was on the Regional runner-upteam in 2006, coached by Thomas Wims... Struck out 30 batters in 35innings with a 2.95 ERA in 2006, and 20 batters in 25 innings witha 3.10 ERA in 2007... Recorded 30 hits and 30 RBIs during the 2007season... Was a two-time letterwinner, and was voted the coach'sbreakout player in 2007... Also ran cross country in highschool.
