Freshman (2012):

Kohn appeared in six games off the bench for Emory during hisfreshman year, batting .333 (two-for-six) with one home run and tworuns batted in.  He hit his first collegiate home run againstNorth Georgia College and State University on May 2nd.  Kohnalso went one-for-one with an RBI single (his first collegiate hit)against Piedmont College on March 31st.

Redshirted his freshman year for the Johns HopkinsUniversity baseball team before transferring to Emory... Played forthe Our Lady of Good Counsel High School baseball team for fouryears, serving as a team captain during his senioryear... Named to the All-WCAC Second Team in 2010... Was a2009 RISE Magazine Top Player to Watch... A 2008-09 Under AmourPre-Season All-American... Helped his team to the WCAC Championshipand a top-50 National Rank by ESPN in 2010... Coached by JohnMcGowan... Also played football for two years.
