Freshman (2011):

Gordon made 12 appearances out of the bullpen for Emory duringhis freshman season, not allowing an earned run in nine of hisoutings.  He finished the year with a 2.38 ERA, while strikingout seven and walking just four in 11.1 innings pitched and holdingopponents to a .286 batting average.  Gordon pitched twoperfect innings at Berry College on April 16th, striking out aseason-best two batters.  Left-handed batters hit just .258(8-for-31) against Gordon during the season, and alloweda .222 batting average (4-for-18) with the bases empty.

Played on the La Jolla Country Day School baseball team for fourseasons... Had an ERA of 2.95 with 36 strikeouts in 52 inningsduring his senior year... Received his team's Most Improved PlayerAward in 2010... Coached by John Edman in high school... Alsoplayed soccer and ultimate frisbee.
