Biography

Senior (2014):

Bokor played in 21 games for the Eagles during the 2014 season,making eight starts and batting .222 (eight-for-36).  He drovein six runs and scored four of his own, while picking up a pair ofdoubles.  Bokor hit .308 (four-for-13) during the UniversityAthletic Association (UAA) Championships, with a double and fourRBIs, including a two RBI game against Rochester on March12th and a two-hit game against Brandeis on March13th.  Bokor ended his Emory career with 23 hits in106 at bats and 15 RBIs.

Junior (2013):

Bokor served as the Eagles’ backup catcher during the 2013season, playing in 17 games and making nine starts.  Hefinished the season with seven hits (all singles) in 38 at bats,good for a .184 batting average.  Bokor drove in four runs,while scoring five of his own, and stole two bases on as manyattempts.  The right-handed hitter drove in two runs with akey pinch hit during the Eagles’ season-opening win againstRhodes on February 16th.  He added a season-hightwo-hit performance against Piedmont on April26th.  Behind the plate, Bokor threw out threerunners and recorded a .949 fielding percentage.

Sophomore (2012):

During his first season as an Eagle, Bokor hit .250 with eightRBIs and three runs scored, appearing in 15 games and making sevenstarts.  The catcher fared particularly well againstleft-handed pitching, going five-for-eight against southpaws for a.625 batting average.  Bokor turned in a two-for-threeperformance with two RBIs and three runs scored during an 11-7 winover Brandeis University on March 13th, and a three-for-six gamewith two RBIs against Covenant College on April 13th.

Prior to Emory:

Transferred to Emory from Ohio State University, where he playedon the baseball team for one season, but did not see any action...Played for Gahanna Lincoln High School, serving as the team captainduring his senior year... Helped his squad to districtchampionships in 2008, 2009 and 2010... Earned second team All-Ohioand Mizuno All-Ohio team recognition, in addition to first teamall-district and second team all-conference honors... Hit at least.360 each of his last three years in high school, including a .405batting average his senior year... Coached by Mike Shade.

Personal:

Has a twin brother, Ben, who he played baseball with during hisfreshman year at Ohio State.
