Junior (2010):
Bolian started 11 games behind the plate for Emory, appearing in18 contest overall. He finished the year with a .200 battingaverage (seven-for-35) with a double, while driving in five runsand scoring four. Bolian picked up a season-best two RBIs onFebruary 27th against York College (Pa.) and against BirminghamSouthern College on April 25th, while notching a season-best twohits against Piedmont College on April 2nd.
Sophomore (2009):
With a strong finish to his sophomore campaign, Bolian finishedthe season with a .282 batting average, including eight doubles, 15runs batted in, and 14 runs scored. The catcher raised hisbatting average .121 points from March 11th on, hitting safely in11 of the 19 games he played in during the stretch. Boliandrove in four runs with a two-for-four performance (including adouble and a run scored) against Washington University (Mo.) onMarch 11th. On April 5th against Piedmont College, Bolianwent two-for-four with three runs scored, two RBIs and adouble.
Freshman (2008):
Bolian started the majority of Emory's games behind the plate,making 28 starts and 34 appearances overall. He batted .267during the season with 16 runs batted in. Over his last 20games of the campaign, Bolian hit .353 with a .451 sluggingpercentage and a .424 on base percentage, raising his battingaverage .124 points during the stretch. He hit .600(three-for-five) with runners in scoring position, .367 (11-for-30)with runners in scoring position, and .346 (18-for-52) with runnerson. Bolian hit his first career home run on March 15thagainst Case Western Reserve University, and his first three-hitgame on April 15th against Huntingdon College.
