Scarfaria appeared in six games for the Eagles in his firstseason of collegiate competition.  He had a batting average of.333 that included going 1-1 versus Case Western Reserve University(Ohio) on March 16, recording an RBI and scoring a run.

Attended Mesquite High School, where he played on the baseballteam for four seasons... Served as the captain during his senioryear... Hit .400 with three homeruns and 20 stolen bases during hisjunior year and .300 with three homeruns and 16 stolen bases duringhis senior year... Named to the all-Region first team as anoutfielder... Helped team to the 2005 Fiesta Region Championship...Was coached by Jeff Holland... Earned the Iron Cat Award forplaying three different sports for four years... Was a second teamall-State punter for his school's football team... Also competed onthe soccer team.
