Biography

Sophomore (2008):

Ornstein played in 16 games during the season, making onestart.  He went one-for-seven during his sophomore campaign (a.143 batting average) with a double, three runs scored, and tworuns driven in.  Ornstein stole one base on his only attemptof the season, and is a perfect six-for-six in stolen bases overhis career.

Freshman (2007):

Ornstein was used primarily as a pinch runner and a late-inningdefensive replacement for the Eagles, appearing in 29 games off thebench.  The freshman was a perfect six-for-six in stolen basesduring the season and scored 10 runs, despite just making 12 plateappearances during the year.
