Biography

Sophomore (2015):

Dougherty appeared in eight games off the bench for the Eagles during the 2015 campaign.  The sophomore finished the year with two hits in nine at bats for a .222 average, while scoring three runs.  He was one-for-one with a double against Hendrix College on March 21st.

Freshman (2014):

Dougherty played in four games off the bench for Emory during his freshman season, batting .250 (one-for-four) with two RBIs.  He picked up his lone hit and both RBIs during the Eagles win over Pomona-Pitzer on February 9th.

Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year varsity starter for the Glenelg Country School ... Led his team to an MIAA Championship in 2013... Named to the 2012 MIAA All-Conference Team and was a three-time UA Preseason All_American... Hit .400 with 25 RBIs during his senior campaign... Was coached by Chris Garber in high school... Also played basketball.

Personal:

Born December 8th... Interned with the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) over the summer.
