Career:

Hansen enters his senior season ranked in the top-10 on the Emory all-time list in fewest walks allowed per 9 inn. (2nd, 1.30), lowest stolen base percentage against (3rd, .643), most combined shutouts (T-3rd, 5), most shutouts (T-4th, 2), most fly outs (6th, 202), most strikeouts looking (8th, 33), most ground outs (9th, 228), most wins (T-9th, 21).

Junior (2016): 

Hansen was superb for the Eagles during his junior season, earning ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-South Region Third Team and All-UAA First Team honors after posting a career-low 2.09 ERA with a 9-2 record and 46 strikeouts across 81.2 innings pitched…Began the season with the second longest scoreless streak in Emory history at 24.2 innings, not allowing a run until his fourth start of the year…During the streak, Hansen recorded consecutive seven strikeouts outings against Ferrum College (Feb. 20th) and Huntingdon (Feb. 27th), a season-high total…Tossed back-to-back shutouts against Piedmont College (April 22nd) and Shenandoah University (May 19th), the latter of which marked the first ever complete game shutout twirled by an Emory pitcher in the NCAA tournament, earning him a spot on the NCAA South Regional All-Tournament team…In addition, Hansen was named the UAA Athlete of the Week a team-best four times.

Sophomore (2015):

Hansen followed up his impressive freshman campaign, going 3-3 in seven starts. He struck out 29 batters in 36 innings on the mound. The righty was named to the UAA-Tournament Team for the first time in his career after posting back-to-back shutouts over New York University on March 8th and 13th. Hansen yieldied just six hits over 13 innings pitched against NYU, while striking out 13 batters and walking just one.  He opened the tournament with six shutout innings against the Violets, allowing three hits and striking out eight batters en route to a 10-0 win.  He came back on five days later to lead the Eagles to a 5-0 win over the NYU, giving up three hits over seven shutout innings, while striking out five and walking one.

Freshman (2014):

Hansen made an immediate impact with the Eagles’ rotation, setting a freshman record with nine victories during the season.  He was named the South Region Rookie of the Year by D3Baseball.com, and was selected as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Rookie of the Year.  Hansen was also named to the D3Baseball.com All-South Region Third Team and the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team.  The right-handed pitcher finished the year with an overall record of 9-2 in 12 starts, recording a 3.21 ERA and striking out 47 with just seven walks in 75.2 innings pitched.  His 0.83 walks per nine innings during the season was the second-lowest mark ever by an Eagle (and was the 12th-best mark in Division III during the season), and ranks as the best career mark for any Emory pitcher with at least 40 innings pitched.  His strikeout-to-walk ratio of 6.71 was 18th among Division III pitchers, and his nine wins were also tied for 10th in Division III during the season, and the 10th-most in a year in program history.  Hansen pitched seven shutout innings against both DePauw University on March 23rd and Berry College on April 16th.  He was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Pitcher of the Week on February 17th, March 3rd, March 24th and April 21st.

Played four years for the Harvard-Westlake baseball team, serving as a team captain during his senior season... Was named the team's Most Valuable Player his freshman and sophomore years and the Pitcher of the Year his juniot year... Coached by Matt Lacour, P.C. Shaw and Ethan Katz.

Personal:

Born April 10th... Was selected to his high school's honor roll all four years.
