Senior (2016):
Played in 41 games, making 40 starts a senior for the Eagles…Tallied career-best numbers in hits (32), doubles (7), home runs (3), RBI (19), runs scored (22), stolen bases (7), walks (22) and slugging percentage (.429) in his first season earning regular playing time…Went 4-for-4 for the time in his career against Case Western Reserve (March 7th) at the UAA Championships…Belted the first two home runs of his career in a two HR performance against Maryville (TN) on April 2nd…Added another round tripper against North Carolina Wesleyan on April 9th…One of two Eagles to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
Junior (2015):
Slivka played in 15 games, making six starts during the 2015 season. He tallied five hits in 25 at bats with one double, four runs and one RBI.
Sophomore (2014):
Slivka played in 17 games for Emory during his sophomore season, including a pair of starts. He was three-for-15 at the plate with a double, two runs scored, and three runs batted in. Slivka also walked four times and was hit by four pitches, raising his on base percentage to .478 for the season. He doubled in his first at bat of the season against California Lutheran University on February 8th, and singled and drove in a run against both Piedmont College on February 16th and Brandeis University on March 16th.
Freshman (2013):
Slivka put together a successful freshman campaign for Emory, batting .296 during the year with 21 hits in 71 at bats. Seeing the majority of his play in the designated hitter role, Slivka scored 13 runs and drove in 15, while collecting five doubles and a triple and stealing three bases on four attempts. He also walked 10 times to raise his on base percentage to .395, while slugging at a .394 rate. He saw action in 27 games, including 21 in a starting role, hitting .333 (17-for-51) against righties, .372 (16-for-43) with runners on base, and .357 (10-for-28) with runners in scoring position. Some of Slivka’s best work during the season came during the UAA Tournament, during which he combined to bat .412 (seven-for-17) with nine RBIs and four runs over five games. He drove in a season-best five runs with a three-for-five performance, including a double and a triple, against Brandeis on March 15th and picked up back-to-back two hit, two RBI efforts against Rochester on Match 12th and Brandeis on March 13th.
