Senior (2005):
Redshirt outfielder didn't play most of the season due toillness. He appeared in three games, earning two hits, two runs,two RBI and three steals.
Junior (2004):
Langbord was named to the all-region second team. He led Emoryin hitting with a .418 batting average, the 10th highest ever by anEagle, and a major leap from his previous season best of .306.Langbord was second on the team this season in RBI, on-basepercentage and slugging percentage. His 54 RBI are fourth-best alltime in Emory history. He complied a 29-game hitting streak,Emory's longest of the season, in which he hit .450. Langbord was28-for-31 (.908) in getting runners home from third with less thantwo outs. Overall, he batted .449 with runners on base.Defensively, Langbord, the Eagles' starting right fielder, wasperfect in 86 fielding chances.
Sophomore (2003):
Langbord batted .267 with six home runs, which tied for the teamlead, and 37 RBI, which was fourth. The Eagles' starting rightfielder finished with 17 doubles (tied for second on the team) and35 runs scored (fifth). He also finished fourth on the team inslugging percentage (.471). Langbord was named to theall-conference first team and the regional all-tournament team.
Freshman (2002):
Langbord was voted conference Rookie of the Year after batting.389 (7-for-18) in four games during the annual University AthleticAssociation tournament in Florida. The freshman outfielder finishedwith a .306 batting average in 36 games. He was third on the teamwith 13 multi-hit games including three apiece in games againstSavannah (Ga.) and LaGrange (Ga.). Langbord hit safely in 12 of hislast 13 games, including an eight-game streak.
