Freshman (2008):

Johnson made four starts and eight appearances out of thebullpen for the Eagles during his freshman campaign, recording a2-2 record with a 4.05 earned run average.  In his eightrelief appearances, Johnson allowed just one run in 8.2 inningspitched, good for a 1.04 earned run average.  He earned hisfirst career victory with five innings of two-run baseball duringthe Eagles' 8-5 win over DePauw University on March 26th. Johnson's 1.01 walks per game was the four-lowest single-seasontotal in Emory history.
