Senior (2011):
Cohn completed his Emory career with a Rawlings/ABCA SouthRegion Gold Glove award at third base, after recording .968fielding percentage and committing just five errors during theyear. Cohn was also named to the all-University AthleticAssociation (UAA) Second Team, marking the fourth all-conferencehonor in as many years for the senior. He finished the yearwith a .283 batting average, while scoring 35 runs and driving in35 runs. Cohn had a key hit during the UAA Championships,hitting a grand slam in the final game against WashingtonUniversity (Mo.), helping the Eagles to the conference title. It was one of three four-RBI games during the season for thesenior. Against the University of the South on April 13th,he started the first triple play in school history at thirdbase. Cohn finished his Emory career with 200 career hits,becoming just the 10th player in school history to reach thedouble-century plateau. He is also tied for seventh in schoolhistory with 42 doubles, ninth with 126 runs scored, 10th with 156games started and 48 stolen bases, 12th with 78 walks, and 15thwith 112 RBIs. For his work on the field and in theclassroom, Cohn was named to the Capital One Academicall-District First Team, becoming just the second player in thehistory of the Emory baseball program to earn three first-teamhonors over a career. He was named the UAA Athlete of theWeek on February 14th.
Junior (2010):
Cohn earned all-UAA honors for the third-consecutive season,leading all Emory players with 17 doubles and a .494 on basepercentage (the eighth-best single season total in school history)during the season. He was second on the squad with a .392batting average and a .592 slugging percentage. Cohn added on26 runs scored, three home runs and six stolen bases during thecampaign. His batting average jumped to .423 (30-for-71) withrunners on base, including a .444 batting average (four-for-nine)with the bases loaded, and led the team with 16 two-out RBIs. On February 20th against SUNY Cortland, Cohn matched a schoolrecord with seven runs batted in, going three-for-four with adouble and a grand slam. He also matched the schoolsingle-game record by getting hit by three pitches on opening dayagainst Oglethorpe University. Cohn was named to the all-UAATournament team, batting .421 (eight-for-19) with a home run, fourdoubles and four RBIs in conference play.
Sophomore (2009):
Cohn earned all-UAA second team honors for thesecond-consecutive season, batting .304 with 24 runs batted in and40 runs scored. Cohn finished third on the squad with 52 hitsand 13 stolen bases, while also adding nine doubles and atriple. He played in all 42 Emory games during the season,starting 41 contests at shortstop. The sophomore hit .341against right-handed pitching, and was three-for-five during theyear with the bases loaded. On February 21st against NorthCarolina Wesleyan, Cohn drove in five runs with a three-for-fourperformance, including a double. He helped Emory to a16-inning 3-2 win over Haverford College on March 7th, goingfive-for-seven with two runs scored (including the game-winningrun), a triple, and a stolen base. Against MississippiCollege on March 29th, he matched a school single-game record withthree doubles.
Freshman (2008):
Cohn earned a spot on the all-UAA second team during his firstseason as an Eagle, batting .381 with a home run and five runsbatted in during the six-game conference tournament. Cohnplayed in all 37 games during his freshman campaign, making a startin every game but one, and batting .361 with one home run, 21 RBIs,and 25 runs scored. He was second on the team with 21 stolenbases on 26 attempts, and led the team with five sacrificebunts. Cohn finished his season with an Emory-best 19-gamehitting streak, batting .380 (30-for-79) during the stretch. The freshman made just one error at first base during the season,good for a .997 fielding percentage. Cohn hit his firstcareer home run during the Eagles' 8-7 loss to WashingtonUniversity (Mo.) on March 14th.
