Emory University volleyball sophomore Ella Moore earned the department's first University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honor for 2026-27 following her performance at the Jenny McDowell Invitational this past weekend. This marks her first career Athlete of the Week honor.

Moore led the way for the Eagles this weekend, with 34 total kills good for 4.25 kills per set and a .411 hitting percentage which helped the Eagles start the year 3-0. Moore also added in a team-leading 31 digs across the three matches and two service aces. 

Moore and the volleyball squad will be back home this weekend as Emory plays host to the 2026 East-West Classic.
