The Emory women's golf team won the UAA Championship Tuesday afternoon at Elks Run Golf Course, tying Carnegie Mellon 3-3 to win the fourth conference championship in program history.

The Tartans claimed their first two points against freshmen Hannah Mun and Julia Paek before Esther Jung tied with Nikita Jadhav to put the Eagles on the board. Zimo Li and Carys Code met the moment and secured wins in their matches as Li outshot Alyssa Lim in a 4&3 victory while Code beat Annie Huang 3&1. The final half point for the Eagles came from Amanda Zheng as she tied with Samantha Wang to tie up the score and secure the win for the Eagles.

Emory will face Carnegie Mellon again later this month as they head to Farmington, PA for the Tartan Invitational.
