Emory University freshman Maeve Stevenson was named the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week after leading the No. 17 ranked Emory Eagles to a 1-1 weekend at the East West Classic in Atlanta. It is her first career weekly honor.

Stevenson tallied nine kills on 15 attempts for a .600 hitting percentage and four blocks against No. 4 East Texas Baptist on Friday night before tallying 10 kills, two blocks, a .389 Hitting % and a service ace against No. 8 Colby on Saturday.

The Eagles look to return to the win column this weekend with three matches on tap at the Mount Berry Invitational, hosted by Berry College.
