The Emory University volleyball team was named a recipient of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award on Thursday afternoon. This is the 17th consecutive season that the Eagles have earned the honor.

To garner Team Academic Award status, programs must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year. More than 1,450 collegiate and high school programs were honored for 2024-25.

The Eagles will open the 2026 season at home with the Jenny McDowell Invitational on September 4th.
