The Emory University track & field teams are set to send 11 individuals and one relay team to the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships as selections were officially announced Friday night via press release on NCAA.com.
From the 12 selections, nine are from the Eagles' women's team as Emory saw Jada Kenner (100m Dash), Aaliyah Jalloh (800m Run), Kelsey Coley (100m Hurdles), Cameron Gupta (3000m Steeplechase), Anna Jennings (Long Jump), Jackie Chapman (Discus), Jeanette Hydukovich (Discus), Abigail Roberts (Hammer) and the 4x400m relay team consisting of Kenner, Jalloh, Amaya Grant and Hannah Riley chosen for nationals.
For the men's team, senior Henry Brandstadter will make one final appearance at the NCAA Championships in the long jump and will be joined by Sebastian Kou (400m Hurdles) and Ari Klasky (Shot Put).
Jalloh and Roberts will enter the championships as Emory's top overall seeds in their respective events as Jalloh is fifth in the 800m with her program record time of 2:09.17, as is Roberts in the hammer at 55.36m which set the team record earlier this month.
Coley is seeded 12th in the 100m Hurdles following her program record of 14.07 set at the UAA Championships while Kenner is seeded 17th in the 100m at 11.81, Gupta is 14th in the steeplechase at 10:37.02 and Chapman (45.41m) and Hydukovich (45.40m) are back-to-back in the discus at 16th and 17th with the two-best marks in program history. Jennings will also enter the field as the 21st-best mark in the long jump at 5.79m.
The 4x400m relay team is amongst the top 10 out of the 16-team field after setting a season-best mark of 3:45.22 this week at Augustana to enter the NCAA Championships ranking seventh in DIII.
On the men's side, Klasky boasts the top overall seed as he ranks 14th in the shot put with his program record of 17.39m followed by Brandstandter at 17th in the long jump at 7.30m and Kou at 18th in the 400m Hurdles after making the cut with his time of 52.72 set this week at Augustana.
The NCAA Championships will be held May 21-23 at Veteran's Memorial Field on the campus of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Â
