Emory University track & field freshman Abigail Roberts has been named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
Roberts had a phenomenal performance at the Life University Last Chance meet, posting a win and new program record in the hammer throw with her 55.36m mark. This was her second time breaking the program record and she currently holds the top mark in the UAA while ranking as the fifth-best mark in Division III for the event.
This is Roberts' second career weekly AOW award as she was previously chosen for the honor on April 6th.
