The No. 1 ranked Emory University women's golf team will be looking to defend its national championship as the team is set to make its sixth straight appearance in the NCAA Championships after securing an at-large bid Monday evening as the NCAA announced the championship field via press release on NCAA.com.
The Eagles will be one of the 34 teams competing for this year's national championship after being one of eight programs granted an at-large selection into the field.
The 2026 NCAA Championships will be conducted from May 19-22 at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges serving as host institution. The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. Following 36 holes of competition, the field will be cut to the top 15 teams and the top six individuals not on one of those teams to compete in the final two rounds. In the team competition, the low four scores from each team for each day will count in the team's total score.
