The #1 Emory women's golf team finished in second place at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, putting up a 902 (+38) total for the tournament after three rounds of competition.

UAA counterpart #3 NYU took first overall, winning by four strokes at the end of the final round. #4 Pomona-Pitzer and UAA foe #2 UChicago rounded out the top three, tying for third at 909 (+45).

Xinyi Zheng claimed the individual title, shooting 216 (E) after an even final round at Great Dunes Golf Course. The freshman shot six birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey on day three to hold onto the number one spot after three consecutive days at the top.

Sophomore Zimo Li finished six shots behind Zheng to take second, shooting a 222 (+6) to land in a three-way tie for second. The round started shakey for the second year with four bogeys in a row and a lone birdie on the front nine, but she found her rhythm on the back nine with only a bogey and a birdie through the final nine holes.

Carys Code came in next, taking 15^th with a 230 (+14) after three rounds. The junior posted five birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey on the round to climb ten spots on the leaderboard.

Three shots behind Code was classmate Esther Jung who scored a 78 (+6) in each of her three rounds over the course of the tournament. She shot three bogeys, two double bogeys and a birdie during her final round to end in 29^th place overall.

Rounding things out for the Eagles was freshman Jida Chiravachredej who went ten over in her last round to take 59^th place, shooting four bogeys, three double bogeys and three birdies to solidify her spot in the top 60.

The Eagles will head to Johns Creek, GA next week for the Georgia State Invitational, with competition beginning Monday, March 30.
