Emory University junior John Urciuoli closed out the indoor season for the track & field program Saturday afternoon as he competed on the final day of the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
Urciuoli made it to the finals of the mile following his performance during prelims on Friday and was one of 10 runners in the finals on Saturday. Urciuoli posted a time of 4:19.30 but narrowly missed out on reaching the podium as he placed ninth overall.
With the indoor campaign concluded, the Eagles turn their attention to outdoors which gets underway this weekend with the Emory Spring Break Classic on March 20th and 21st in Atlanta.
