The Emory University women's tennis team has announced the incoming recruiting class that will join the Eagles starting with the 2025-26 season.
Four highly regarded players are set to join the Eagles following a season where Emory turned in an 18-6 overall record and advanced to the national team semifinals of the NCAA Championships.
Jessy Chen (5-5, Limassol, Cyprus)
Posted an overall national record of 113-46 which included two Tennis Europe titles, three ITF runner-up finishes in singles and one ITF runner-up finish in doubles…climbed to as high at No. 4 nationally in the U18 rankings…Planning to major in Business.
Erika Olson (5-6, The Woodlands, TX)
Four-year member of the varsity tennis team at The John Cooper School…Four-star recruit and ranked No. 10 in the state of Texas and No. 101 nationally by tennisrecruiting.net…Four-time Team Most Valuable Player award winner while playing at the No. 1 line across entire career…Led John Cooper School to back-to-back runner-up finishes in the Southwest Preparatory Conference as a junior and senior…Won an individual title in the SPC as a junior and was a runner-up as a sophomore…National Arts Honors Society member…Also played one year of varsity basketball during her freshman year where she was named the team Offensive Player of the Year…Plans to major in Biology.
Holyn Karp (5-6, New York, NY)
Four-star recruit and ranked No. 8 in the state of New York and No. 107 nationally by tennisrecruiting.net…Co-Captain of the women's tennis team as Poly Prep Country Day School…Three-time All-Ivy Prep League First Team selection as a freshman, sophomore and senior…Princeton Cup Award recipient as a sophomore…Led Poly Prep to the finals of the NYSAIS and Ivy Prep League as a sophomore…Plans to pursue a Pre-BBA track.
Audrey Pogue (5-3, Tampa, FL)
Three-star recruit and ranked No. 29 in the state of Florida and No. 190 nationally by tennisrecruiting.net…Played varsity tennis at Berkeley Preparatory School and led team to a runner-up finish at the state championships…Plans to major in Business.
