Emory University track and field senior
Liesl Scherrer was the lone competitor for the track program on Saturday afternoon running at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday evening.
The meet consists of primarily Division I competition and sees some of the best collegiate runners in the country. Scherrer ran in the 5000m run taking 141
st out of 167 runners with a time of 17:26.34. Her time ranks sixth in Emory history and is the 27
th best time in Division III this season.
The Eagles will return to competition on Saturday, February 22 sending runners to the Sewanee Indoor Invitational in Mount Laurel, Tennessee and the South Carolina Indoor Open in Columbia, South Carolina.
