Lu competed in the 400m hurdles at the Emory Twilight Qualifier and Lee Last Chance meets last week, earning top five finishes at both events. At the Emory Qualifier, Lu ran for 53.53 seconds to come in fifth place while he ran for 53.22 seconds at the Lee Last Chance meet to take second. The sophomore now holds the top mark in the UAA with his performance at Lee.
