Ben Zipay

    Men's Tennis Assistant Coach and Marketing Graduate Assistant
Ben Zipay joined the Emory University Athletics Department as the Events and Marketing Graduate Assistant in August 2024. In January 2026, his role was expanded to include serving as the part-time assistant coach for the Emory men’s tennis program.

Zipay currently serves as event manager for the Emory women’s soccer team as well as the men’s and women’s tennis teams, while also assisting with marketing initiatives and game-day operations for all 17 varsity programs.

A native of Osprey, Florida, Zipay was a four-year starter (2020–2024) and team captain for the men’s tennis team at Elon University. During his career with the Phoenix, he appeared in 95 total matches and posted winning records in both singles and doubles. He also gained experience within the Elon Athletics Department as a Marketing and Ticketing Intern.

Prior to Elon, Zipay was a four-year starter at the No. 1 position for the Venice High School men’s tennis team and served as team captain for three seasons. In 2019, he helped lead the program to its first-ever state championship, going undefeated in both singles and doubles during championship play.

Zipay earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Elon University in May 2024 and is set to complete his master’s degree in Sport Administration at Georgia State University in May 2026.
