Four-year member of the cross country program at Lago Vista High School ... Was coached by Jason Stoner ... Finished 14th out of 175 runners in the two-mile at the 2A Region IV Championship her senior year (12:52) ... Captured all-state honors in 2009 ... Posted an 11th-place performance out of 107 competitors at the 2A UIL State Championship in 2009 ... Top time in the 3200 meters was a 12:17 ... Best two-mile time in cross country was a 12:12.3.

Daughter of Mark and Sharon Abbott...Born March 21st... Also a member of the Emory Cross Country team... Member of the Spanish Honor Society in high school... Was her high school's salutatorian.
