Competed on the Syosset High School track and field and crosscountry teams for six years, earning seven letters, and served asthe team captain for cross country and track her senior year... Wonthe county championship as part of the 4x400m and 4x800m relayteams... Recorded career-best times of 59.6 seconds in the 400mDash, 2:19.6 in the 800m Run, and 20:04.5 in the 5,000m Run...Coached by Douglas Schumacher and Mike Spiteri in high school...Also played junior varsity soccer.
