Biography

Junior (2005-06):

All-American Jane Ukandu was named most valuable runner at theUAA Indoor Championships after winning the 55m dash in a record7.22 seconds.  She also took first place in the 200m dash atthe UAA Championships with a time of 25.26 seconds, another schoolrecord.  Ukandu rewrote the school record books afterfinishing first in the 100 meter dash at the Georgia TechInvitational with a time of 12.11 seconds. 

Prior To Emory:

Three-year letterwinner in track at William P. Clements HighSchool ... Recipient of the Academic Excellence Award all fouryears ... Competed in the 100, 200 and 400 meters ... Also ran aleg on the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams ... Was a member of her highschool's soccer team.
