Competed on the cross country and track and field teams at Mount Tabor High School... Earned All-Conference honors four times and indoor track All-State honors on three occasions...Took home All-Region honors six times and All-State honors four times during the outdoor track season... Also took home cross country Conference Runner of the Year honors. Helped earn the indoor state title in the 4x800m.
