Competed on the Mercersburg Academy track and field team fortwo-and-a-half years, earning five letters and serving as the teamcaptain... Was her team's Most Valuable Player... Recordedcareer-best times of 12.63 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 26.64seconds in the 200-meter dash, 58.15 seconds in the 400-meter dash,and 2:24 in the 800-meter run... Coached by Nikki Walker, SkipSydnor and Emory Mort... Also played soccer and ran crosscountry.

Why she chose Emory:

"I wanted to go to a Division III school, so I could be astudent first, and then an athlete.  I just loved Emory."
