Biography

Senior (2005):

The senior competed in the NCAA championships for the first timein her career. She and doubles partner Indu Anand won their matchin the NCAA quarterfinals, semifinals and finals. Together they hadan 8-1 doubles record with their only loss by a 9-8 (6) score inthe NCAA quarterfinals. Seven of their wins were against opponentsfrom schools ranked in the top 20 nationally. They were 12th in thefinal regional doubles rankings compiled by the IntercollegiateTennis Association.

Junior (2004):

Compiled 4-1 record in singles, including a 2-0 mark againstopponents from teams ranked in the top 20 nationally. Her onlysingles loss was in three sets in the round of 16 of theIntercollegiate Tennis Association regional championships. Tiemeyerwas a winner in straight sets in her singles matches againstopponents from teams ranked No. 14 and 20 in the nation.

Sophomore (2003):

Sophomore Lindsay Tiemeyer finished the season with a 11-1singles record, including 6-1 against opponents from NCAA DivisionIII national top-20 teams. Tiemeyer was named first-teamall-conference at No. 6 singles, the second consecutive year shehas made the all-conference team in singles. At the conferencechampionships, she stepped in at No. 6 singles due to a lineupchange and won her matches in the semifinals and finals. In thelatter match, Tiemyer was a 6-2, 6-3 winner to help Emory beat theNo. 9 ranked team in the nation and win its 16th consecutiveconference title.

Freshman (2002):

Tiemeyer broke into the singles lineup for the Eagles late inthe season just in time for the conference championships where shewent undefeated at the tournament. She received second-teamall-conference honors.

Personal:

Daughter of Pam Tiemeyer. Highest sectional ranking of 34 inMidwest girls singles 16's.
