Freshman (2016-17):

Vernoff went 4-6 in singles and 6-2 in doubles in her first season with the Eagles. In the fall, she reached the round of 16 in both the singles and doubles competitions at the ITA South Regional. During the spring season, Vernoff was 1-1 in matches against No.-5 Sewanee and No.-22 MIT. She also saw action in the NCAA Tournament in the second round against Methodist, leading Allison Himes 7-6 (3) before going unfinished.

Played four seasons for the Livingston High School tennis program under Head Coach Elliot Lovi...Served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons...Three-Star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net...Ranked 216th nationally, 24th in the Mid-Atlantic and 4th in New Jersey...Named All-State in 1st Singles during the 2014-15 season...Team reached the state semifinals in 2012...Earned High Honor Roll all four years...National Honor Society and AP Scholar...Also participated in track in high school.
