Megan Kurey

Megan Kurey joined the Emory University women's tennis coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season. 

In her first season on staff, the Eagles went 18-6 and advanced to the national semifinals. She helped mentor four ITA All-Americans during the 2024-25 campaign including UAA MVP Emily Kantrovitz. Furthermore, the Eagles advanced to the UAA championship match once again. For her stellar efforts on the staff, Kurey was recognized by the ITA as she was tabbed the Atlantic South Regional Assistant Coach of the Year.

Kurey spent four seasons playing at Georgia Tech where she was selected as an Academic All-ACC on three occasions while also being selected as an ITA All-American in doubles in 2014. In 2013, she became the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional and National Indoor Doubles Champion and was ranked as the No. 1 Doubles team on February 11, 2014.

Following her career at Georgia Tech, she was named a volunteer assistant coach for the 2017-18 season before coaching at Kansas State in 2018. After her stint at Kansas State, she joined the Notre Dame coaching staff in 2019 where in one season, she helped guide her student-athletes to five ITA Scholar-Athlete awards, three ACC Academic Honor Roll nominations and an All-ACC Academic Team selection.
