Swam her freshman year for Foster High School... Recorded career-best times of 17:15.43 in the 1650 free, 10:18.20 in the 1000 free, 5:02.71 in the 500 free and 2:08.25 in the 200 fly... Was named to the all-state team... Was her team's Most Valuable Player her freshman year... Coached in high school by Kris Jones and by Allison Beebe on her club team... Was a Scholastic All-American and an Open Water Nationals qualifier for her club squad.
Personal:
Father, Dwight, played baseball at Texas Tech University... Member of the National Honor Society in high school.
