Biography
Junior (2007-08):
Hostalet was Emory's fourth-best performer in the 50-yardfreestyle and the 100-yard freestyle, and the sixth-best performeron the team in the 100-yard backstroke. She scored 135.75points during the season, the 14th-best total on the team.
Sophomore (2006-07):
Hostalet earned the fifth all-America certificate of her careeras part of the Eagles' 200-freestyle relay team in 2007, which seta school record in the event. Hostalet also earned anall-America honorable mention in the 200-individual medley. Her time of 27.57 in the 50 backstroke was the best by an Eagleduring the season, and she had the two-fastest times by an Eagle inthe 200-individual medley. Hostalet's 158 points in meetsduring her sophomore campaign was the 11th-best total by anEagle.
Freshman (2005-06):
Hostalet, a freshman, earned four All-America certificates thisseason. These certificates were earned with her second placefinish in the 100-yard backstroke competition, her second placefinish in the 800-yard freestyle relay, her second place finish inthe 200-yard medley relay, and her third place finish in the200-yard freestyle relay. She also earned All-AmericaHonorable Mention honors in two events. Hostalet receivedAll-Conference honors in two events this season including the titleof Conference Champion with her win in the 200-yard freestylerelay.

Prior to Emory:
Competed on the Evanston Township High School for four seasons,and served as captain during her senior year... Swam in the 100meter and 50 meter free, and the 100 meter back... Was a three-timehigh school all-American and all-conference... Coached by KevinAuger... Was a senior national qualifier, and a sectional and statequalifier for three years... Finished in the top-eight in the 50meter freestyle at sectionals... A member of the Wildkit swimmingorganization... Also participated in track & field in highschool.
