Biography
Junior (2007-08):
Tripp earned the second all-America honor of her career,finishing third as part of Emory's 800-yard freestyle relay team atthe NCAA Division III Championships. She was also anall-America honorable mention with a 13th-place finish in the200-yard freestyle. Tripp also earned a number of conferencehonors, winning the UAA Championship as part of the 800-yardfreestyle relay team, and taking home all-UAA honors in the200-yard freestyle. She was Emory's second-best performer inthe 200-yard freestyle and the fourth-best performer in the500-yard freestyle during the season. Tripp scored 152.25points during the season for the Eagles.
Sophomore (2006-07):
Tripp earned the first all-America certificate of her career,helping the Eagles to a third-place finish and a school record inthe 800-freestyle relay. She earned an all-America honorablemention in the 200 freestyle as well. Tripp helped the800-freestyle relay team to all-University Athletic Associationhonors at the conference's championship meet. She competed inthe freestyle, butterfly and individual medley events for theEagles during the season, earning 83 points.

Prior to Emory:
Transferred from Hamilton College after her freshman year...Competed on the Hamilton College swimming team for one season,swimming in the 200 & 500 meter freestyle events... Receivedthe Athletic Director's Award... Was a NCAA 'B' cut qualifier...Attended Mercersburg Academy, where she competed for six years onhe swimming team... Served as the team captain for the 2004-05season... Coached by Pete Williams and John Ogden... Also competedon her high school softball team.
