Biography
Junior (2007-08):
Holmes was Emory's ninth-best performer in the 100-yardfreestyle, and the 16th-best performer in the 200-yard freestyle,during the 2007-08 season. She scored 78 points in meetsduring the season, the 23rd-best total on the team.
Sophomore (2006-07):
Holmes was part of the Eagles' University Athletic AssociationChampionship 200-freestyle relay team, and earned UAA honors in the50 freestyle, 200-medley relay and 400-freestyle relay. Shecompeted in the 50-, 100- and 200-freestyle relay throughout hersophomore season for the Eagles, earning 197.25 points, theeighth-best total on the squad.
Freshman (2005-06):
Holmes, a freshman, earned her first All-America certificatethis season with her third place finish in the 200-yard freestylerelay. She also earned two All-America Honorable Mentionhonors. Holmes earned All-Conference honors in five eventsthis season including the title of Conference Champion in fourevents. She earned these titles with wins in the 100-yardfreestyle competition, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 400-yardfreestyle relay, and the 400-yard medley relay
