Attended Pleasant Valley High School, where she competing on theswimming team for four seasons... Was the team captaing during herjunior and senior campaign... Was the Iowa State Champion in the500 freestyle in 2006, and was part of the State Champion 400freestyle relay team in 2003... Was a member of the State ChampionClub Team from 2002-05... Coached by Paul Eure and Barry Neville...Also played basketball in high school.
