Prior to Emory:

Swam on the Centennial High School team for four seasons,serving as the team captain during her senior year... Was anall-American in the 100 fly, 200-medley relay and 400-medley relayin 2009... Named her team's MVP and Swimmer of the Year in 2009...Recorded career-best times of 56.72 in the 100 fly and 53.13 in the100 free... Helped her squad to a state championship in 2006... Wasnamed an Academic all-American and a Scholasticall-American in 2009... Was a Short Course National and U.S.Open qualifier.... Coached by Erin Pryles in high school and RichMurphy on her club team.
