Senior (2004-05):

Senior Leigh Campbell earned All-America honors in four eventsat the NCAA championships. Campbell is one of five swimmers inschool history to earn three or more All-America honors inindividual events in the same year at the national meet, and thefourth to do it at the national meet in two different years.Campbell swam a leg on the national championship 800-yard freestylerelay team. Campbell finished third, fourth and seventhrespectively in the 500-, 1650-, and 200-yard freestyle events,This is the fourth consecutive year that Campbell has madeAll-America in the 1650-yard freestyle event. Campbell is the firstindividual in Emory history to earn All-America honors in the sameindividual event all four years. Her career All-America awardstotal 16, which is the second most in school history. Campbell wasthe conference champion in the 1650-yard freestyle event. Campbellwon the team's Most Competitive Performer award. Campbell was fifthon the team out of 39 competitors in points scored in dual andchampionship meets.

Junior (2003-04):

Junior Leigh Campbell earned All-America honors in the 1650-yardfreestyle for the third consecutive year. Her fourth-place finishin the 1650 at the NCAA nationals increased her career All-Americatotal to 12, the third most in school history. Campbell alsoreceived All-America honorable mention recognition in the 500-yardfreestyle.

Sophomore (2002-03):

Leigh Campbell, a sophomore, finished third in the 1650-yardfreestyle at the NCAA championships. She was one of three Eagles toearn All-America status in that event this season. Her time of17:09.70 makes her the third-fastest individual in the 1650freestyle in school history. She turned in the fourth-fastest timein school history in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.45,which placed her 10th in the event at the NCAA meet. Campbell istied for the third most career All-America citations in schoolhistory with 11. Campbell finished the season with the fourth mostpoints scored among the 33 Emory swimmers in dual and championshipmeets. She was named the conference Athlete of the Week for herperformance the weeks of November 11-17 and January 13-19. Campbellwas honored as the team's Most Competitive Performer.

Freshman (2001-02):

Campbell became the first Emory swimmer to earn the maximumseven All-America citations in one year. She did so by finishing inthe top eight in three individual and four relay events at the NCAAnational championships. The freshman was second in the 400-yardindividual medley, fifth in the 500-yard freestyle and sixth in the1650-yard freestyle. Campbell set school records this season in the400 IM and 1000-yard freestyle. She already ranks among the 10fastest individuals in school history in eight events.
