Biography

Senior (2005-06):

Henderson, a senior, qualified for the NCAA Division IIInational championship again this season.  At nationals sheearned an All-America Honorable Mention with her 14th place finishin the 400-yard individual medley.  Henderson also earned twoAll-Conference honors in both the 400-yard individual medley andthe 800-yard freestyle relay

Junior (2004-05):

At the NCAA national championships, junior Karyn Hendersonearned an All-America certificate by placing fifth in the 400-yardindividual medley event. She received All-American honorablemention for the 200-yard individual medley event, where shefinished 11th. Henderson finished second at the conferencechampionships in the 400-yard individual medley. Henderson was 15thon the team out of 39 competitors in points scored in dual andchampionship meets.

Sophomore (2003-04):

Member of conference champion 400-yard medley relay. Earnedall-conference honor in one event. Finished 12th on the team out of35 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Freshman (2002-03):

Freshman Karyn Henderson was a member of the national team. Shefinished 23rd in the 100-yard breastroke, 25th in the 200-yardbreastroke and 34th in the 200-yard individual medley at the NCAAnational championships. Henderson was 13th on the team in pointsfor the season.
