Biography
Senior (2007-08):
Flader competed in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke forthe Eagles at the NCAA Division III Championships. Shefinishes her Emory career with five all-America certificates. Flader earned a UAA Championship as part of the 400-yard medleyrelay, in addition to all-conference honors in the 100-yardbreaststroke and the 200-yard medley relay. Her time of1:06.48 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Miami Invitational wasthe best time by an Eagle during the season, and theseventh-fastest time in school history. Flader leaves Emorywith eight of the top-10 times in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Junior (2006-07):
Earned all-America honors as part of the 400-medley relay team,which recorded the third-best time in school history. Shereceived all-University Athletic Association honors for herperformance in the 100- and 200- breaststroke. Recorded eachof Emory's top-eight fastest times in the 100 breaststrokethroughout the season, and each of the top-four fastest times by anEagle in the 200 breaststroke. Her time of 1:06.70 in the 200breaststroke at the NCAA Championships was the eighth-fastest timein the event in school history. Flader earned 227.50 pointsin meets during the season, the fifth-best total by an Eagle.
Sophomore (2005-06):
Flader, a sophomore, earned three All-America certificates thisseason. She earned these certificates with her second placefinish in the 200-yard medley relay, her seventh place finish inthe 100-yard breaststroke competition, and her fifth place finishin the 400-yard medley relay. She also earned an All-AmericaHonorable Mention in the 200-yard breaststroke competition. This is the second consecutive season she has qualified fornationals. Flader earned All-Conference honors in four eventsincluding the title of Conference Champion in three events. She earned these titles with wins in the 100-yard breaststrokecompetition, the 200-yard breaststroke competition, and the400-yard medley relay
Freshman (2004-05):
Flader earned All-America honors at the NCAA nationalchampionships as a member of the 200-yard medley relay team thatfinished in fourth place. Flader earned All-America honorablemention with a ninth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke atthe national championships. For her achievements Flader was chosenas the team's Rookie of the Year. She was eighth on the team out of39 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.
