Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year letterwinner on the H.V. Jenkins swim team... Recorded career-best times of 1:54.26 in the 200 Free, 5:03.73 in the 500 Free, and 2:07.45 in the 200 Back... Was coached in high school by Townley Smith... Also swam on the Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team for eight years, where she was coached by Bill Forrester.

Personal:

Born September 9th... Mother swam for Auburn University... Was a National AP Scholar in high school.
