De Souza was a key reserve midfielder for the Eagles during herfreshman campaign in 2007.  She appeared in 18 games forEmory, making one start during the year and scoring one goal withtwo assists.  De Souza scored the game-winning goal duringEmory's 2-0 win over Maryville University on September 2nd.

Played for four seasons on the Gulliver Preparatory's Women'sSoccer Team... Was a two-time Miami Herald Player of the Year (2006and 2007)... First Team All-Dade County from 2005-2007... Named theteam MVP in 2006 and 2007... Was an All-State player in highschool... Coached by Frankie Delgado in high school... Played forthe Miami Premier club team, where she was coached by FrankieDelgado as well... Also played golf and ran track in high school.
